FAQ:

1) HOW TO ORDER?- If you're looking for what we have in stock, choose "Kylla Ready Wear Shop".   If you're looking to order a custom designed garment, sized to your measurements for Stage, Ring, or Street- choose "Kylla Custom Rock Wear Shop" or "Kylla Custom Ring Wear Shop" and choose the type of garment that most closely matches what you would like to have made.  Instructions are in the listings.  Email us (at top of page or on contact page) if you want a quote on a nonstandard design.

 

2) HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?-  Ready Wear ships immediately from Richmond, Virginia, USA.  Custom Shop pieces book approximately 3 months in advance of when you order.  If you need something on a rush deadline, please contact us for availability and pricing.

 

3) WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?  - Ready Wear ships from Virginia, USA.  Custom pieces are made by hand in our studios in Virginia, USA, or Stockholm, Sweden. We offer in-person fittings by appointment at either location, but we do not have a physical storefront.

5) WHAT IF MY ITEM DOESN'T FIT?  We offer sizing exchanges on Ready Wear, and for custom shop pieces, one alteration is included in the cost of your item if you need any adjustments after trying it on.  Detailed policies on these are written below ->

 

 

KYLLA *READY WEAR* SHOP FAQ/POLICIES:

1) RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
You may return any Ready Wear item within 14 days of its delivery to you for an exchange for a different size/color if available. Returns must be in their original condition in which it was originally shipped to you. Items may be tried on indoors and still be eligible for return, but once they have been worn outdoors they are not eligible for return. We reserve the rights to refuse a refund, credit, or exchange for items that are not in a re-sellable condition - regardless of whether the item was worn or not. When possible, we may charge a $20 dry cleaning fee in order to accept a dirtied item. We may make such a decision based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to; pet hair, dirt, deodorant stains, appearance, strong scent, and/or general condition of the item when it's returned to us.
Shipping fees will not be refunded or credited.  International buyers must pay return shipping to return an item.  Refund will be credited upon receipt of returned item.

2) SIZING AND STOCK
Size charts are included in the listings- standard US sizing! Sizing exchanges are possible. If we are out of stock of a certain size, you may contact us to be notified when that size is restocked! We do offer minor alterations on a case by case basis- contact us.


KYLLA **CUSTOM** ROCK WEAR AND KYLLA **CUSTOM** RING WEAR SHOPS FAQ/POLICIES

0) ORDERING
Place an order on the KYLLA CUSTOM ROCK WEAR or KYLLA CUSTOM RING WEAR custom shop for the type of garment you want. I will then contact you within 24 hours to the email address you placed the order with to discuss your specific design preferences and send measuring charts! If you do not hear from us please email kyllacustomrockwear(at)gmail(dot)com or check your spam folder. If you want something nonstandard/not pictured or would like to use our 50% deposit system / pay in installments (up to 4 interest free), email us for a quote. Only previous clients are eligible for the deposit system.  You must use the webstore to order, or pay via Paypal or credit card through our deposit system- no cash, checks, or transfers.


1) WAIT TIME
We book approximately 3 MONTHS OUT on all custom orders in the ringwear and rockwear custom shops. This wait time is APPROXIMATE as all orders are unique. We do not start on your order before the week that it is your turn in the queue, as there are others before you in line. If you need your order by a specific EVENT DEADLINE please let us know WHEN PLACING THE ORDER and we can usually accomodate it as long as it's not sooner than our 3 month lead time. RUSH ORDERS are only rarely available but please contact us if necessary- prior clients have priority on rush order availability, and fees depend on when you need the item.  We are not responsible for shipping carrier delays.

2) INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We are based in Virginia, USA, but I am frequently also in Stockholm, SWEDEN. We do ship worldwide and the webstore should calculate the cost. If you have customs or shipping cost concerns or questions (especially from EU and Middle East), please contact us as we have options available. International orders will need to allow shipping lead time on REQUESTED EVENT DEADLINES or pay for expedited shipping due to variable customs delays.

3) RETURNS, REFUNDS, and PAYMENT
REFUNDS AND RETURNS are NOT GIVEN on custom orders. Custom Rock Wear and Custom Ring Wear payments and deposits are NON REFUNDABLE and NON RETURNABLE, as we purchase materials and reserve your time slot in the schedule at the time of ordering. We in most cases cannot resell your custom order to anyone else. Alterations and changes are however allowed with constraints depending on the original design requests until the point in time that I start sewing. Graphics and materials changes will occur additional material cost fees. Items made using the deposit system that are not fully paid will be listed for sale after 30 days of nonpayment to attempt to recoup costs.

4) FIT and ALTERATIONS
FIT IS NOT GUARANTEED if we have not done an in-person fitting. 1 fit alteration is included in the price of your purchase if necessary after photos are seen and once you try it on- garments must be returned to me for alteration (buyer pays return shipping) and we will ship them back. We do not compensate for alterations done by 3rd parties. In the case that return shipping is cost-prohibitive (international buyers), we can make an exception to offer no more than 20% of garment cost up to the demonstrable cost of shipping to have an international vendor implement the alteration. Alteration wait is typically 2-3 weeks but may vary depending on our availability (no deadlines on fit alterations).

5) DESIGN CHANGE REQUESTS
Photos for your approval will be provided before shipping. Up to 2 subjective changes are allowed within reason of the original request. Change requests in conflict with or in addition to original requests will incur charges or be refused. Base material or base color changes are not allowed. If using the deposit system, item must be paid in full before any requested changes are implemented. Change requests may delay delivery depending on the complexity of the request and our schedule availability (no deadlines on design changes).


6) CUSTOM IMAGERY and GRAPHICS
You must have professional print resolution graphic files for any images or text you want on the gear, we DO NOT DO GRAPHIC DESIGN WORK for you. We get all patches/logos/graphics printed by a 3rd party service, so please send print resolution images and be specific about size and placement, as print image changes are not possible. Please make sure you have the rights to any images you send us. For Ringwear, we usually print the images directly to lycra for durability. Metallic prints are not possible. You may also mail us physical patches to use.


7) DESIGN ISSUES

We do create designs for you from a description, but we do not do sketches or design work until you have placed an order.
We do not do overstudding/overblinging (aka put thousands of studs or rhinestones on the piece, but we will put a few consistent with the level of detail on our other work pictured)!
We do not make masks, shoes, or hats, but we do rock out existing pieces you might have to match an outfit you order from us- contact us!
WE WILL NOT COPY ANOTHER DESIGNER'S WORK, nor a previous client's piece, unless for a specific tribute act/cosplay purpose.  We will make pieces SIMILAR to what we have made before, as long as enough is changed to make it a distinct piece.

8) GARMENT CARE AND WARRANTY
Garments are hand wash only- hang dry gently. Do not machine wash or dry clean as it will potentially damage the hand painting, heat transfers, studs, and any delicate details we added. Any necessary repairs within 1 year of purchase are also free of charge, buyer need only pay return shipping (please do not send unwashed worn clothing). Improper care voids guarantee. 9) SPONSORSHIPS AND ENDORSEMENTS
We do not offer sponsorships or endorsements, however we do offer bulk or band discounts (proportionate to your reach) on large orders. Please contact us for this.
